Clio 172 ph1 & ph2 exhausts the same ???

Are Clio 172 ph1 & ph2 exhausts the same ?
Center and rear box mainly ?

The Ph1 exhausts are slightly longer to accomodate the shorter cat I believe.

Phase 1 has a double cat remember, not cheap

The back box is the same, the centre section is different, it has a longer piece at the front to accommodate the shorter cat. Its about an inch and a half longer. They are not swappable.

That could be why my exhaust on my ph1 sits under the bumper a bit too much, if it was built for a ph2.

If it had a ph2 centre section the exhaust mounts wouldnt even reach it.

Its welded one piece, with custom mounts.

It would depend on the year of the ph1 wouldn't it? as the late ph1's had the single cat like the ph2's.

Its very confusing because later ph1s had the twin cat still but with 2 lambda sensors, but it was the same length... But then Ive seen an exclusive that has the ph2 style cat but I cannot remember if it was the longer type identical to the ph2.
