clio 172 ph2 trouble starting

i recently purchased a 172 51 plate and since getting it home ive had trouble starting it when i try the imobilser is very temperamental but when it doesnt interfere with starting it usually turn over 3 or 4 times then just stops then will randomly start at other times though never 1st time then when i had it running earlier i turned it off tried to start it again and it started 1st go so maybe needs to be warm any ideas would be appreciated

Im haveing the same problem sometimes i just push the reset switch and it works, I would love to know the actual solution.
