clio 172... which is the best exhaust????

Well as above really, i can't decide whether to replace my exhuast with a new stainless system of some kind or just replace it with a brand new genuine renault exhaust sytem???

is there really any gain on a stainles system over the genuine renault system???

You can expect around a 5hp gain, it makes the car more responsive and gives it a nice noise although mines rather loud, saying that i do love doing down my windows and listening to the exhaust some nights.

It will make your car quite a but louder - I dont know which one is the best but mine is an OMP Motorsport one and i noticed more power throughout the whole acceleration bracket

Although it is loud... Some times i feel a bit silly when im passing cars on A roads as they look in at what the car is coming past them with such a deep note! but hey im 21 not 35.

Personally i think it makes the car look a lot better, except for the double pipes - they look crud!

looking at the miltek ones and possibly a power flow on but i have a friend whoes had a power flow and not rated it at all!!!

Mine has had a Prospeed Stealth on it since the start of the year and its fantastic.

There were some early problems with the build quality with centre section welds/joins splitting but Charlie has cured that now.
Reasonably priced too. Just a bit of a trek involved as he's in Cardiff.

Only thing that puts me off going for a stainless steel one is having to mess around with the insurance

Depends what backbox you go for. I've taken the attitude that cos mines a stealth, its pretty much a non-rust version of the standard pipe....therefore...im keeping schtum.

The performance and noise gains are purely incidental officer...

Your money will be better spend on an exhaust that has had time invested in it, like a yozza or miltek.
Custom exhausts wont really give any gains if any
