Clio 182 clutch same as 172?

Need a new 182 clutch - are they the same as on the 172?

The release bearing can differ can't it? 182 and later 172 ones are hydraulic and early are cable?

nope. Never hydraulic.

Bizarre, I thought they were different. I sat in a 182 at the weekend, and the clutch was really heavy. The 172 clutch was much more easy going and lighter

Bear in mind there are different makes that fit and if a car has had a clutch change then different manufacturers can make it feel different, as can clutch cables depending on age.

IMO only use a valeo clutch

EXACTLY Same as oe renault one just in valeo box thats whats in mine about half the price too
