looking for a exhaust for my clio but not really loud something that sounds like the original.... can anyone help cheers

To keep it as quiet as Original it will have no Benefit IMO

I've heard Miltek's are quite Quiet - Check the For Sale Section now

CLIO-COBY, the reason andy is changing to a different exhaust is cos the original one is rattling badly (something to do with the bafflers). So he just wants to know which exhausts dont sound too loud.

I see....You both from Norfolk? I'm in Spixworth nr Norwich and I have a Magnex + Decat and that is a Little Loud if your after a subtle sound

ah 2 local boys.... was lookin at the magnex, u say its a little loud not sure what one to get and not in a horrible way but i dont want it to sound like a boy racer, had my days of that

I would not Buy a Magnex ever again as I've had it ages and spent loads of time and money trying to get it to look right and it still doesn't sit right

Miltek or Scorpion would be my Choice for a Subtle Exhaust

yea seen the milltek on k tec and they do the sport and the super sport... they say the sport isnt much louder than the original so may try that... now havin a few engine mods so should be hittin 200 bhp within the next month

Lucky Sod..... I've had mine 2 years and done Bugger all and am Gutted but I just waste so much money every month on other crap

super chip exhaust and a few mods on the induction kit but keeping the original box coz they are superb....

been on youtube havin a look at a few exhausts k-tecs sound ok so gonna go for that think... cheers for your help boys

the original airbox on the 182 isn't suberb... Also those mods wont get you to 200bhp. more like 185bhp

so what you think is wrong with the standard box and all this will get more bhp than that for sure.... ihave a mate who has all these mods and a re map and is hitting 200 mate

I dont see the point in these super chips etc etc the Cup is fast enough

The standard box (minus the acoustic) valve is very good. I had my car RR and remapped recently and the guy took off the airbox to see if unrestricted airflow would increase power. It did increase power....by 1bhp! Though my airbox is modded slightly, L bend samco induction pipe, 50mm and 63mm alloy hoses to replace the cr@ppy standard fabric ones and a clean standard air filter. Ok it doesn't look as flash as a Maxogen or Viper etc, but the mod only cost me the price of the alloy hoses, 20 odd quid. Oh and I have the Scorpion RS192 CATBack exhaust too. Before remap 175bhp, after remap 183bhp.
