Clio 182 engine management light came on

Hi I was driving yesterday home from work, up pop the eml light in the dash. Plugged in to a computer today and came up with knock sensor ? What does this do and are they a common problem cheers matt

What was the actual code that the computer gave you?

Was it EML or emissions? (where was the light?)

I had the emission light come on when I changed fuels - code was saying knock sensor error.

Have you used a different fuel to usual?

My light is still on after a misfire, I changed fuels not long before from running standard unleaded to super unleaded or V-Power, could this be the cause of why it hasn't gone away although the misfire has gone?
