Clio 182 Engine Temperature Sensor Location

Hi Guys
Please tell me where engine temperature is located and how to go about replacing it.
The guage fluctuates wildly and is causing the car to cut out

Cylinder head > Right hand side > thermostat housing > only sensor on that side.Disconnect the plug > 21mm ring spanner > undo sensor > put finger in hole to stop coolant going everywhere > quickly replace sensor > top up coolant resevoir.
