Clio 182 gearbox, lots of play

Hi,
I picked up my clio 182 a couple of days ago, I've noticed there is alot of play in the lever when in 3rd, and 5th, and a small amount in 1st. It also crunches slightly when changing quickly into 3rd.
Could this be the linkage causing a vague shift and getting caught between gears or would you suspect worn synchro's?
Is it possible to tighten the linkage at all? And any ideas where to get a replacement if not?

Mine has crunched slightly when changing faster into 3rd above 6500 7k, for about a 5 months, my dogbone has been gone and im not sure if that effects a sloppy change? as there is so much more movement. replaced tomorrow so I will let you know.
