clio 182 smoke

well here goes i dont drive my car's hard i am a hgv drive so a dont go round fast..

but i got on the motorway yesterday and got to round 4/4500 rmp and i got smoke out the back my car was warm can anybody shed any light on this for me...

That's the favourite.
Even though the engine is warmed up, exhaust systems get alot of water in them. You get onto the m/way, gun it, the gas/exhaust temp goes up and vapourizes the water.

The 182 exhaust is exceptionally good at getting a water build up. They normally start dripping out from joints etc.

But yeah, its blue and black smoke you need to worry about so dont panic!

thankyou very much it will do it when i am in reserve aswell i have only had the car a week and a did panic abit and rang the garage i got it off coz he gave me 3 mth warranty...
