Clio 182 Water Leak via Blocked Central Scuttle drain - Fixed How to

The left and right scuttle drains are easy to spot but the central one down the back of the firewall is well hidden. Hopefully the attached will be of use to other Clio owners. A blocked central scuttle drain gives you a water leak into the drivers side foot well.

It connects to a small pipe going into the engine compartment. If you don't want to remove any parts it can be cleared by a wire up the small pipe in the engine compartment and then flush out with water, repeat until clear.

Also, another way of clearing the side drain holes is by removing the front wheel arch liner beside the drain hole. You can buy new clips if you break them. It's easier than removing the windscreen wipers.
