Goodj is totally correct, the terms & conditions for Bell (which is the same document for Admiral and Elephant) which a significant amount of this forum uses state that you have to declare mods including factory fitted optional extras.
Depends who you're with and how dubious you are of them. For example, Bell/Admiral/Elephant require you to declare all modifications and factory fitted optional accessories but (here's the odd bit) you seem to be able to opt NOT to insure these optional extras (their policy wording seems to have been written with things like air con and sat nav in mind) However needless to say if you do not insure it they will not replace it and therefore in the event of a crash I guess they'd refuse to replace your grey wheels, shocks and hubs (all whatever else is different on the cup pack).
To annoy the consumer even more even though you pay to insure these mods/options they will ONLY replace with standard.
So I'm paying £90 odd extra because I have cup (any suspension extra/mod immediately classes you as a crash-happy chav thus high risk) suspension but if I crash they will only give me non-cup wheels and non-cup suspension* Infact there's a point, I'm 19, 2 years NCB, great postcode, high excess, low miles yada yada and cup suspension & spoiler pack added £90 to the premium.
*This is all according to their terms & conditions. Maybe in real life they'd opt to buy me cup hubs rather than have to buy standard hubs AND then £££ worth of shock absorbers that actually fit the new hub.
