Clio 197 steering wheel airbag in mk2

So my wheel has now melted to the point that my hands are black after every drive, would like a new wheel but don't want to loose the airbag. Can the 197 wheel airbag be fiddled to work in the mk2?

Yeah a full 197 steering wheel and airbag fits onto the mk2.

Probably a good idea, I don't really fancy a facefull of hard plastic, don't know if I trust myself with electronics XD

No, you need to remove a slight bit of plastic on one of the connectors but apart from that it's plug and play. In my opinion it feels nice than the 182 style wheel too, it is slightly dished and chunkier too.

Hey buddy did you retrim yourself or have someone do it? As struggling to find the right retrim kit please help
