Clio 197 xenon problem

Hello first of all want to apologise fore the bad spelling!!

I have a problem whit my Clio 197 xenon lights, the lights doesn't react when shifting from normal lights to high beam. Did leave it to a Renault dealer and they say it something wrong whit the "electronics" that's controls the ligths. They have to replace and program a new box of a total cost of 250-300euros.

Is this a normal thingt on this cars? someone else that have had the same problem?

No the warranty did go out 3months ago.

If it's the selfleveling it's only a few quid for a new sensor i believe.

No wonder people walk away from xenons & climate, too many problems

I don't now if its the selfleveling they sad that it its positioned in the rear of the car... They also said that it is a sensor.
