Clio 3 - 17" or 18"?

i have been frying my brains on whether to put 17" or 18" rims on me new clio?

im two concerns are

1. Dont want to ruin the drive
2. There is almost £500 difference between the sizes

It's 215/45/7x17 vs 215/40/7x 18

OZ ultraleggera's so they aint gonna weight a ton.

Any advise be great also anyone got pics of new clio with 17 or 18's

17's IMO. I think 18's would look OTT, they are more expensive, louder and will ruin the ride.
