I'm pretty bored and have just checked, if they come out at 22k, I don't know why I'd not just buy a 125i hatch for for £2750 more.

I'm guessing they will do some epic finance sort of deal though.
No doubts they will still sell plenty even at that sort of price range.
Not sure why people expected it to be any less? I expected to be around that price if not more to be honest.

Oh dear. I do hope Renault have a few tricks up their sleeves, otherwise I can't see it being a big seller!

It does. Basic spec or not it is the least looking sporty hot hatch i've ever seen. A basic 197/200 still looked like like the hot version.

the general public are not bothered by renault, no matter what they do 90% or more are going to choose the mini or a VW over a renault, the clio 2 was a great little cheap runaround and sold very well, this has taken the clio away from that

20-22k is about right. Same price as a corsa VXR which really is its direct rival. However still don't like the look of it!
