I never have been a fan of the morette head lights on the escorts, and not overly keen on the front bumper. But i love cossies.

I dont know exactly what engine work its had done, but it puts out about 450bhp at nearly 3bar boost i believe.

Although currently its not set up right as it had a new gear box put in which needed to be run in. So its probably only running 250-300bhp at 1-1.5bar boost.

As most of you have said, an escort looks spot on as it is, i think maybe a set of rondells, or azevs are all you can do to improve the looks of them.
as they look the dogs on 18s etc.

I dont like the front bumber on the top pic of the cos, i think that whole wrc look looks dated now.

I know, but I dunno what it is, I think they are great machines etc, but Id just prefer newer cars, Id prefer the Focus RS over it.

My mate had no problems with his it had loads of engine stuff done to it and when he sold it it only had 27k on the clock!!

I love his Cossie but the suspension is that stiff it makes me feel sick! He is selling it to get a Skyline R34 GTR which hopefully will be more reliable which means I dont have to drive all the time!

Surely the Skyline will be worse because surely it wont only go wrong but will cost a bomb to repair unlike the ford!?

As far as I know Skylines rarely go wrong. The Cossie on the other hand always smells of petrol and costs loads to fix because there is that much done to it. Luckily he is in the motor trade so can get things cheap.

He needs to get a nice reliable Clio and forget these fancy cars
