Clio Cup Back Box Fell Off !!

I have a 52 172 cup 48000m and the back box has just rusted off, spoke to quick fit and he said he would have tyo weld bits arond the rear axle as it goes over this ? he said to get it done properly I would have to go to Ren. and pay alot !!

Would do you reckon, Ren. or other, please help as it sounds very very loud !!!

Do Ren. keep these in stock ?? How much do you reckon it would be ??

Best place is to go to a copy cat exhaust makers, have a look in the Yellow pages etc you can get the rear systems for £90 I think.

Its a common failing though at 3 years or so old.

I'd personally stick with a stock/copy cat system as i don't like noise but the Ktec stelth system is quite popular but more expensive.

I paid £160 for a new backbox on my 172 when mine fell off! The was from Renault Minute.
