Got mine for exactly the same price and mileage so you've done well mate. Make sure you get everything possible to man done under warranty if its still valid. Really get to know your car mate and sure as hell fire you'll love it to pieces !

alright fellow cup owner and fellow chester resident .

the cup's go like stink and i have had mine for just over six months and love it , as for having no abs you just got to take it easy on the small roads and boot it on the open roads . which i like to do .

Agree with you, it was a bargain and it's hard to find an unmolested one with an enthusiastic (but not in the I rally/race) owner. Does need Tax and will need first MOT @ end of Jan + a service in less than 4k miles but it was still a bargain - got photos but don'y know had to add them, don't have any on web only on 'my computer' help!

the 24k service should be around £175-200 dependant on what you provide, ie oil and also if you need the brake pads done on front or rears and the tyres condition.

Good dealership that one I take my car there. least i belive they will service the car and give you a straight answer. Don't let them change your pads though you cna do it yourself dead easy job 40 minutes start to finish if your taking your time.
Come down to the meet on Sunday at Cheshire Oaks.

Yeah agree on the pads! My local dealer was gonna charge me £89.00 for front pads fitted! - I ended up doing front and rears in an hour for about £60.

Cheshire Oaks Eh...My Wifes favourite place, but definately not mine but I reckon I will make an exception on this ocassion - is there a meeting place en-route? I'm 10 miles from Chester 1/2 a click from Carden Park A534/A41 (nice roads)

same at forth road bridge, about 8 cars at one time race to get to the first two lanes of the bridge, awesome fun sort of demolition derby esk





tried that once it was good fun with ma 172 and ma pal in his crx vtec was wall good clean fun

Yep great roads be careful though that A534 has one of the highest crash records in the Uk as roads go.
I've sent you a Pm (hopefully) as I live just a bit further down the A41.
