A tear fell from my eye reading all the nasty comments they had about the cup. They seem to overstate the bad points and understate the good points. I don’t know about the mk2 but the mk1 ctr handled terribly when I drove one, totally boring and uninspiring. In addition there is a £6000 difference in price, it’s a bargain for what you got.

Yes the CTR handling is fine, just 3 seconds slower per lap on certain race tracks on a track day![]()
