Hi all, after a hard days work i decided to post up a small write up on the car i detailed for a friend of mine.....Marshall arrived in his car at half 10 this mornin and it was all go from there!!...my friend lewis was also on hand to help out with the detail....
This is the range of products i had to play with!
Firstly i sprayed the entire car with a strong TFR solution to break down all the dirt and grime on the paintwork! This was then blasted off with my pressure washer....
Next on the list were the wheels, various brushes and sponges and my wheel cleaner solution ate through the dust and tar pitted on the wheels..
We then jumped on the car with megs wash mitts and megs hyper wash using the two bucket method and in no time the car was being rinsed down!
Once it was rinsed we clayed the car using megs clay kit (white clay) and sonus clay where more agression was needed, using megs last touch as lubricant...
After another rinse we dried the car with cobra guzzler microfibre cloths....ensuring no water was dripping from bits of trim etc etc
Every detailers nightmare! Taping up took an hour but it is a key stage so we began....After all they say like everything else good preparation is the key!
Once this was done i decided on the Sonus range of pads using the SFX-1 pad with the SFX-1 defect and swirl remover to clear the paint work of its hand car wash inflicted scratches!
Once round the car and working the product in i was satisfied with the level of correction i had achieved, so we sprayed the car with megs last touch and wiped it clean!
I then chose megs #26 high tech yellow wax for the added gloss and top notch protection! Applied with a lower speed on the Sonus SFX-3 pad to the car we then, let this cure before being wiped off!.......The tape was then peeled off!
Wiped down with Final Inspection to rid of the bloody dust!
Windows treated to Stoners Invisible Glass
Plastic treated to megs Trim Detailer
Tyres with Megs All Season Dressing
Arches with Megs All Season Dressing!
Hey Presto Job Done....Photoshoot time!!
Paint Flake!!
Thanks for looking! Comments Welcome!
