Thinking about trading my 1st car a 07 Plate clio 1.2 16v tom tom edition for this 1....

I really wanted too buy a 197 but think the fuel costs would b too much....

What options are available on this car and has any1 got 1...

Can u get a body kit e,t,c.


Also what would my target price B for buying this car brand new

Get a 182, new cars are a bad call in todays market. I wouldnt buy a new car for many many years anyway because you can get such good deals on 2nd hand cars. I got my 1.2 (55 plate) when it was 22 months old, 29.5K with optional AC for £3500, new it was circa £9.5K

the old 138 is decent value, my local stealer has one as a demo at mo, quite nice.

What sort of fuel economy does the 138 get? Cant help but think a 172/182 would be a much better buy. Prob's similar on fuel to a 138 id guess due to the fact they are lighter.

Think it throws back round 40+ mpg, another fact though is its alot cheaper to insure than a 172/182

My old girl has one, she's got a black 57 reg one with some option bits on it, it was a year old the other day. If you want one, sod buying it new get one that's a year or so old.

I haven't even been in it, my old man says it's not bad but it'as not exactly brisk (she didn't want it to be tbh)
