Clio Dynamique vs Punto Sporting?

I know these threads are despised lol, but I am curious as to how much difference there will be, if any, between the 1.2 16v punto sporting and a 1.2 16v clio dynamique. My brother has bought a punto and was just wondering.

Also if anyone knows of any where we could use to try them against each other, like an abandoned airstrip or something (nothing stupid, just comparing accelleration etc) in north london / south hertfordshire that would be great. We went to bovingdon airstrip to try them out but got chucked off sharpish.

Iirc the 1.2 16v Sportings were 90bhp..................

why would you want 6 gears in a 1.2?

Only reason I can think of is 1.2s are not very economical on the m-ways.

3500rpm. On the speedo its 20mph per 1000rpm, but we all know speedo's over read.

Real speed it 18.91mph per 1000rpm iirc.
