Clio ECU’s (Please Help)

Does anyone have any infomation (whatsoever) on ECUs on the this years 16v clios, im on about fitting a Fuel/Timing Controller, i have all the universal fitting instructions but just need to know that the cars ecu is geared up for it ?

well, its a RENIX (Renault / Siemens Nixdorf) Sirrius 32 or 34 unit.

what do you want to know ??. and what do you mean by a fuel / timer - have ya got forced induction ??

Joe.

Im shortly going to be going down the NOS lane so as you can imagine want everything regulated and moniterd, do you think the ecu is kitted up for it ?

absolutely no probs..

just make sure you use a progressive controller for higher power - say 40 bhp and above.. use a boost ign r****d.. and only activate on WOT (Wide open throttle)

the ecu disable lama input at WOT.. all the fueling needs to done on the Nos / Fuel injectors or fogger.. put the fogger down stream of the throttle plate.

Hope that helps.. have fun

Joe..

im going to be using the APEXi safc kit, ive been speaking to someone on anouther board and they seem to think it needs to be wired to a loom ? i think when i get it ill bring it down to you

Im concern about something has well.

Since I own a RT, changing my inj body for the laguna 1.8 SPI body, must I change the ECU for the 1.8 has well? does my own work with this?

Need to know what is needed before ordering the 1.8 inj body.

N02 ia a very simple affair, and so long as you set up your wet kit properly, then their is no need to monitor everything.....its not as dangerous as you think. I am running N02 on my 1982 carbed XR2, no electronic anything, and as you know, manufacturing tolerances were a lot worse back then...so you should be more than ok without all this electronic aids!
