clio engine gone :(

was on my way to asda earlier and stopped at lights temp went up so stopped and found the car leaking water from left side of engine(looking from front) filled back up with water drove so far then stopped to wait for it to cool down filled up with water again then drove a little more and so on then started making loud noises sort of like scraping or something as i got home the car just died and wont start it sounds like there is no teeth on the timing belt or something, need help asap

Water pump gone bearings collapsed and took belt with it.

that sounds like a failed water pump, hope its not caused to much damage

the water pump had seized witch collapsed the bearing and tore a hole in the timing belt, luckily managed to get a new engine with power steering and everything on it, the other engine was on its way out anyway. thanks for the replies
