Clio Grande 2001 - 1.2ltr 8v (MK2 PH1)

  2001 Clio 1.2 Grande
I'm pretty new to the car scene, my first car was a 98' Fiesta. It was proper scrapper, falling to bits and I drove it into the ground. This is my second car, still my first years insurance, not looking to mod it much, but I wanted to learn how to work on them a bit after having to get rid of my Fiesta. I aren't really into lowering them, but I do want to colour code it a bit and get it nice and fresh looking. Maybe make the radio screen light up blue rather than orange, bits and bobs like that. Can't afford to get alloys just yet, maybe looking at doing it next year... If I do then I may look at lowering springs, but I wont be lowering it much, and I can't afford to do it any time soon, on a very limited budget.

Here it is how I got it, all I've done is fix the common SERV AIRBAG light problem with a bit of duct tape to sturdy the cables under the drivers seat, and I replaced the nasty mirror that the previous owner had put on it:

Sorry for the questionable photos, it was freezing outside and I didn't have a coat on so couldn't keep the camera steady enough.

Can't really see it in the pic.. It's done around 103,000 miles. The steering wheel was £4 from Asda, nothing special.

The mirror was naff, he'd literally glued it in, I bought the proper replacement for about £6!

I'll be getting some PH2 rear lights in the next few months I reckon', I think they look miles nicer.

Engine bay needs a good clean, full car needs a clean to be honest, just haven't had the time since I got it. Never done the engine bay though, I'll probably do it when I next get a weekend free so I don't have to drive it. I'll be looking through the forums for how to do stuff, and have a haynes manual, so not asking for help as such.. but any pointers or suggestions will be helpful and are more than welcome. :)

Front lights actually in quite good condition for a 13-year-old, I'm guessing they have been replaced at some point in the past.
