Clio GT Turbo Conversion

Car  Williams 2, 182 cup
Just had a silly thought and wanted to know how difficult a job it would be to fit a 5 turbo engine to a 1.2 mk1 clio?

Also what would I need to change?

Just that I know of a mk1 in nice condition that needs a new engine.
Wanted to know if I could do it myself, would be a nice sleeper haha

Yeah :S

The only advantage I could see there would be the weight. Oh and maybe "pssshhhh" lol!

Yes. Think about it, those little engines have so many parts available to tune them with. You can see the Bhp figures running into the high two hundreds.

You stupid Mk2 ppl :p

dont do it

i did it, spent loads, my engine was MINT, then i had an accident and it took me about 9 months of pure  HELL:mad: sorting out my payout with the insurance, even though EVERYTHING was declared, i even sent them my invoices for all the work so they knew what had been done, they said it was covered, then when it came to claim time they tried to screw me out of the money, i wouldnt wish that experience on anyone it was the worst thing thats ever happened to me

Here's a pic of mine when I had it done (sold car 6 months ago)
