Over the winter I hope to continue the front rub strip across the number plate recess, Schmidt Modern Lines 3pc (going to try to get bigger dishes so i can run 9.5/10 at the rear, Porsche Tombstones and then retrim them in leather and alcantara with rear bench to match. Clio 197 steering wheel. There is currently a group buy for bagyard stuff on a local forum so i may purchase the management for the airride.

cheers for reading :)

Looking good :)

Just needs a decent offset to give it stance. Should look good on the modernlines.

Yeah i know. You need seriously low offsets to poke wheels on these. The lenso's are et 25 and they sit like the pics above.

I was messing around with the spacers and with a 20mm spacer.. which makes the wheel a et 5 it looks like...

And with a another spacer i had... it made it an et -10...

Took a trip down try on one of Ryan's RM's to see what the 8.5j would be like on the front of the clio.

They were 6.5j et 9 (i think) but we had to run a 3mm spacr so bolt would fit so basically ET 6.

Results...

I reckon an 8j would work better as it would go further down the tyre

That's insane.
Makes BioHzrd's car look like it's on stilts and his is low!

Probably a daft question but what's the air tank in the back for?

It's on air suspension lad. So a compressor fills the tanks you hit the button to raise the car the air goes out of the tank into the bags and hey presto car is lifted.

I'm not going to run a number plate at all dude. It's the same fine (£30) weather the number plate is in the window or lyin in your garage. It has to be displayed on the front of the car to be legal. It cost me just shy of £300 mate. There is a lot of work went into it though apparently. He used spare rubstrips and plastic welded them together and then fibreglassed it into the bumper

Wow...nice Frontbumper! best wishes from your airride-friend
Thanks dude. Is your airride a 2way system or a 4way system?

looks so much better with the wider wheels on!!!
th lines would get my vote but i would go for a 9j and a slightly higher offset!!

Did you get the bolts for the fronts?

What suspension do you have, I dont think it really matters - H&R Triple C bolts for instance are (I think) designed to fit any MacPherson design. You need to measure the width of the bracket and the existing bolt width and then decide upon which application you need.

Search google for "H&R Triple C PDF" im sure youll find the PDF file for measurement and part number instructions. Bolts are about £50 for the pair. Fitting them is piss easy, im sure if you waft a tenner under the nose of a local garage they will look both ways and take it.

Haven't updated this in a while. I have had a set of Genuine BBS RS for a while now and was basically making them fit the car lol

After a whole pile of welding, drilling, fire, polishing and what not, they are eventually on :)

They are 16x8.5 with 2.5" dish and 16x9 3.0" dish.

The wheels.
