hello all... i just wondered why not many people fit an induction kit to the clios. is it due to heat soak ect. i see most keep the standard airbox in place.. or is it because of the noise maybe..?
thanks
jay
i put a powertec one on mine mate and the noise was unreal but it did seem to lose power so i took it off, normal airbox with pannel filter seems to be abit better responsive but everyone seems to be gettin the ktec induction kit because the filter sits by the battery and dosent get any heat soak
cheers for the replys... i understand its not just a case of putting a cone on.. although what do you normally get with the induction kit for most cars.. a crappy bracket to stop the cone flapping about . so seems the ktec kit is a cone with relocation pipe...
i just wondered why most seem to opt for the std airbox that was all.. i could only think of heatsoak causing a problem or the noise issue...
i know the guys at k-tec know what there doing but £160 for a filter and silicone pipe i just cant bring my self to do it when you could piece up a similar set up for around £60 -80 mark
