Clio mk1 1.8 value

Hi guys

Been offered a mk1 Clio 1.8 for 700 quid, needs a bit of work to get it through an MOT but what are the resale values looking like on these?

Profit to be made??

Not a lot of profit tbh, depends what condition it's in & what work is needed but good condition ones seem to be selling for around the £1200 mark

A mk1 clio with no MOT is not worth £700. Unless it's got £400 cash in the glovebox.

As above. Of the 3 I've bought without an mot I've never paid over £400.
