Clio Mk2 ph1 lost power to head unit and clock

Have losted all power to the stereo and clock display, there obviously linked together, have checked all the fuses in my visible fuse box and the head unit, even had the dashboard off to check whats happening behind there but all the wires seem fine and connected up properly, I cant seem to figure this out anyone else had problems like this help would be much appreciated.



noticed something when it first went off, on my speedo the speed needle went up to max and then dropped like something had reset? :/

Got it sorted now, after trying almost everything to figure it, it turned out to be a dead live to the ignition, got it all reconnected and its working again, if anyone else has this problem I would be happy to help.
