Clio MK3 from Germany

Hello Communtiy,

my name is Jens, i'm 20 years old and from germany. My English is not so good, but i want to show your some pics from my Clio MK3 GT.

The GT is lowered with a H&R Coilover Suspension 70/65mm ( no reserve to go lowered, completly down :-( ). Wheels are originial, rear axle with 40mm spacers, 20mm per side. Now some Pics.

Suspension original:

Go lowerd with 45mm H&R Springs: H&R Art.Nr. 29140-3

And at least with H&R Coilover Suspension Art.Nr. 29139-1, completly down

Thank you for this great comments. But the lowering is not enough in my own opinion. 15 - 20mm lowered are perfectly

f**king hell, there was me thinking 30mm would be enough, im not sure that 45mm is enough lol, coilovers are too low IMO.
And 20mm spacers lol.


Looks good, i have similar plans for mine, 20mm (now) spacers and 45mm H&R springs.

These the same H&R's fitted to other Mk3 clios? Also is the handling still as good?

As said before, kind of looks a bit too low in my honest opinion. However if you like it that's what matters! I just think the front should be raised a bit.

Handling is excelellent, not to hard, it's handeld very confortable by normal speed, and when you drive faster, the suspension will go more hard.

I can find H&R Art.Nr. 29140-2 on the euro perfornmane site, but not H&R Art.Nr. 29140-3 which are the ones he has.

Same 45mm springs, for the 1.4, 1.6 and DCI mind. Might be worth a try. Now ive seen his spacers i might go even wider.

Art.Nr. 29140-3 are only for Clio GT. These springs are from Nissan Note. But they are more compatibel to the gt damper.

My GT was for development by H&R an they try ant test some things. Well, Coilover are the Same, 29139-1, but the Springs are 29140-3. So, the Tüv Report come in this week.

Had 50mm on either axel on my old mk3 (25mm a side) and it looked minted ask ne one on here lol !
