Clio mk3 ICE Questions

1. Ive been told by Biohazard and 1 of my colleagues at Halfrauds that the Can-Bus adapter (£100 eek) is unnecessary. However one guy i work with is sure i will need it. Who's right? I mean Bio has got an aftermarket HU in his Clio and he has had no problems?

2. What size are my door speakers? 13cm? Also getting the door cards off. How?

youll only need it if you want to use the controls. For me id rather save the 100£ and stretch my hand another few inches.

13cm and you dont need to take the door cards off. Look under the speaker grille from the bottom door pocket and theres a slot you can use to push the grilles out and a few torx screws later you can take the OEM speakers off!

Yayyy Well im learning to drive next month so its either spend my wages on this setup...

Head Unit
Sub and Amp
Speakers for the mid-range

Or epic learning costs.

Comes to just under £300. Now i have my savings account which has around £200 in, plus i should have around £350 in wages this month, PLUS i have about £150 in the normal bank as it is.

So thats £400 left over for learning to drive. Sound k?

Oh and since its my 17th, i may ask my dad for some really good Hertz speakers in the doors

youll have to bend two of the clips on those speakers. You can buy renault specific ones from c.a.s if you dont want to have to do this.

Does yours have speakers in the back?
