Clio Mk4 Dynamique + wheels/lowering

OK, before I start I have searched through the threads and found mixed information regarding wheels and lowering.

The car is a standard 2001 1.4 Dynamique + with the 15" wheels on.

My girlfriend wants some 17s I need to know the exact offset required and any other information regarding swapping the wheels (tyre size). Whats sort of wheels have people got (pictures please) and what price should I expect to pay ?

Lowering : nothing to extreme just to make the car look nice with large wheels on. Front/Rear different or the same. Where to purchase (website) ?

More importantly has anyone got any photos of a Clio Mk4 with 17s on, even better lowered too.

Fred has 17s on his and sropped it by 60mm - though his is the 1.2 16v dynamique

I dont have any pics though, but plenty of people do

it is best to get uprated shocks with the springs as the ride is not the best quality on a 60mm drop

Probably go for a 40mm drop then, dont want to spend too much, as long as it doesnt look like a rollerskate I dont care.

I can guarantee theres nothing sport about the standard springs. I would get uprated shocks for 2 reasons, first of all the OE ones are too stiff and crap in the first place and also theyll wear anyway.

http://www.k-tecracing.comwww.k-tecracing.com have spax shocks plus springs. Youre looking at £400 excluding vat.

People are fitting 17s with ET37 or ET38.

Its a bit lower than that now cos the springs are bedded in, do 60mm, 40mm just looks standard still!!!! Dont woory about shocks, the std ones are fine!!!! (had mine on for 30000miles!!!!!!!)
