Clio RS 172 Gentleman's Racecar from France :p

Hi guys

I'm a French fan of the Clio sport, i joined this forum 'cause you guys are really creazy !!

There are much more rare clio on your ilsand than in France ( rare colors) and many of you are mounting turbos JMS and other things you don't see often around here

My car right after i bought it from a friend :

It has many many mods, and has been fully resprayed this year :rs: really love the "flammer red" if i'm right

for us it is "Rouge de feu" which basically means "fire red".

I'll try to get the names right for the mods, i'm missing many words lol

many parts from Ktec, cup chassis from an 182, Recaro from a trophy (only one on purpore)

I call it a gentleman's race car because it has seat heaters, and a good stereo, so i can drive fast but my GF thinks it's comfortable

sort of ...
Air intake make it quite noisy which i love, and engine mounts from Ktec involves many "rattle" noises ( not sure if i'm right).

Hey dude welcome. Your rs looks lovely.
I thought rs cars where rare in france then a few years ago I stayed in a small village in North France. I saw 3 r26 meganes and a 182 that evening.

Well, we have many ricers... and often i'm seen as a ricer when i talk about my car, but there are also many proper petrol heads :smile: it's a good community and as anywhere else there are meetings and everything. It's not that different, there are car meets and illegal street races on friday evenings ^^

oh yes it is !!! Switzerland also have 50 of them, with the steering wheel on the "right" side ^^

I can't do a trip, even a small one without seeing an RS ^^ most of the time it's a Megane but there are also many Clio and Twingo :smile: On any trackday i've been to, there were always more RS than other cars lol

Have you taken your 172 to the col de turini yet?
I went there last year but took my 1 series. The clio would have been amazing round there.

hello everyone !

i haven't been there for...well a long time ^^ The clio is doin' well. It drives me everyday to work, and keeps giving me a large smile

it has done 118 000 miles now.
and it's a proper Renault !
