CLIO RS, SAT NAV- Disconnected.

63 plate, Clio RS. Menu- only Sat nav greyed out. Able to access all other options as usual. Tried new SD card- no change.
Nothing obvious, been told to check fuses, water ingress etc. Electrician’s advice was ‘needle in a haystack.’
Anyone else had same problem? R link? Evolution.

I'm pretty sure there is a setting somewhere to disable it. I know I can disable it on the medianav in the settings menu.

Thanks, I might have to. Just looking on R link store for updates. It states ‘ you can no longer subscribe to a connected product service. Your vehicle is not eligible for connectivity’
Does that go some way to explaining? There aren’t any updates, no maps nothing?

Need to take it to Renault for an update. I have to do that with my Twingo with r link

Update: Did this, nothing. It’s not even reading new SD card, sees it as a USB? Fuse is ok too. Next stop will have to be a costly visit to Renault?

Purchased updated Renault SD maps.

How different is it? Bought it from a reputable dealer, looked at files on comp, has all necessary on it but my R link just not reading it?

The card I have is a dealer update card. Technically it’s not mine 🫣 so I can’t just send it off to anyone as I do have to return it at some point. Might be worth popping into your local dealer and asking them?

Hi Martin, thanks, downloaded toolbox, went to updates.. no map updates? Only agreements. Map side empty? There is a red bar across top of screen stating I am ‘no longer able to subscribe to a connected product. My vehicle is not eligible for connectivity.’ Is this the main problem? It’s driving me crackers! Have it booked in to Renault in a month but in mean time trying to resolve without spending a fortune!

If you have a good as card don't worry about map updates, it's system updates your looking for
