Clio Sport 172

Hi guys Im new to this renault lark. I am in the process of selling my Corsa to fund a clio 172 cos it looks like an awesome car. Any of you have any advice about them? Are they worth the money?

Any advice appreciated guys.

Id say go for black, most of the ones I see are either silver or blue. Black is nice and subtle and looks the dogs danglies! Errr, as for buying advice, I cant help you cos Ive never driven one but everyone on here who has one seems to love it, despite the typical renault nuances, so thats gotta be good...........

IMHO, red is best(I have silver), blue is nice in the right weather and black makes it look like a 1.2!

The black/blue/silver and red 172s are just too common, plus the standard 172 looks like a Baccarra!!!

BACCARRA .......me thinks you need your glasses prescription renewed mate!! (no disrespect intended to Baccarra owners). BTW the CUP is just a stripped out 172, finshed in a nice blue colour, that accelerates 10 times faster! ................ reaching for asbestos jacket!

very nice, but more worrying is that my 1.2 is gradually looking very similar to yours

IMHO blue has to be the colour for any of renos performance cars

mk1 blue looks best (ive got one ) mk2 definatley flame red looks best!!!,black and blue ones look like Dcis

either way superb car,definatley worth the dough! 0-60 under 7 seconds,(not starting the argument),aircon,cd,leather,spare wheel (not cup),and around 35-40 mpg! what more do you want....group 6 insurance would be nice..bugger!

silver - nice colour most common of all the colours

black - shows the dirt too much (unless you like a dirty car?!!)

blue - not so common but for me just doesnt have that va va voom

red - the best colour of all and extremely rare (I havent seen another red 172 on the orad since i bought mine (feb 03, almost done 5k since).

the mk1 in silver is the best as i can be pretty certain i will always see another one on at least a weekly basis and can therefore remind myself how good MY own car looks on the road

other colours may be "rarer" but how often do you see them???

been poking alot recently tho bud, the newbies might get a bit sore, plus that stick has been so many places before they might catch something

Does anyone know someone want to buy a corsa? Please dont give me the usual Corsas are crap cos I know, I think its a great first car for someone whos just passed their test as its only insurance group 2!
