Clio Troubles

ive got a 96 clio rl prima 1.2, i was drivin along and she just cut out and wont start, any got any ideas as to what the problem could be ?

any help would be great

this thread should be moved mods...

and it could be a number of things. do you know how to check if its sparking?

does it start shortly after? then when u drive off it will cut out again??

this is what happened to my 03 dci clio - it was an ejection relay problem

ye could be anything

take it to a local well reputable garage mate,

or get renault to tell u wot it is and how much, n say u cant afford it, at least u no wot it is then

if you can find out if it sparking it will give us more of an idea whats going on...

took a closer look at it today and found that the timing belt has snaped.

im now lookin for another engine, best place to get one?

Try Renault specailist breakers (google search) and ask for Matt.

ill give em a try , cheapest quoted so far is £150 including VAT &delivery +90 day guarentee, not to bad i recon.
