Just witnessed a head-on collision outside my office window between a Volvo 740 and a Clio Mk2. The Clio turned right into the path of the Volvo. Both lady drivers were unhurt, which is a testimony to how strong small cars are these days - surviving an impact with a big, heavy Volvo when youre in a smaller car is no mean feat.
Naturally, we invited both drivers into our office, calmed them with tea, let them use the phones to call family and helped them with exchanging insurance details etc. I think in an event as tramatic as a crash on a busy road, Id like someone to do the same for me.
