Clio V6 - Buying advice

Hello,

Im looking to buy a Mk1 clio v6 on around a 02 plate for around £13500 mark,



can you let me know of any areas i should perticually look out for when going to see one???

Obviously crash damage etc but is there any commen faults on them and what should i look out for,



Any advice will be greatly apreciated

MK1s go for less than £13K without any crash damage I would have thought?

I know of a mint one that belonged to a member here that went for 12k recently.

yeh seen a few go for under 13k, and wasnt there someone on here the other day saying they got a really low mile one for 12k ?

Mk1s seem to be what ever people are prepared to pay for them like all cars, but yes i would say 11k-12k is a good starting point.

mk 2s are the one to have. the mk1s aint really much faster than a 172.

seems a lot to compromise ie fuel, insurance and servicing to get a marginally quicker and far more expensive car - thats just my opinion though for what its worth - sure a lot of V6 owners would disagree

Thank you too (Loopee, I cleaned it every weekend and kept it under a car cover when it rained...it sure is well looked after )
