Clio wear

Do all phase 1 clios wear well? My 1.9 diesel was pretty much unmarked after 113,000 hard miles. Had a cam belt and a new battery but not alot else.

yeah mine seems to be standing up quite well. Its 11 years old and since ive had it in May ive had one leaky shock replace (garage i bought it from paid), the thermostat went, and replaced the front pads and discs. No other probs (gave it usual service of plugs, leads, cap and arm etc but they aint really anything unusual).

Oh and just remembered a rear wheel bearing and brake cylinder.

Not bad for its age :)

the good old mutli-plug will corode one day, leaving you with a faulty earth. Its mad a f**k cos when you try to indicate, the heater light starts flashing and alsorts. electrics are rubbish on ph1

which is why you should never keep it longer than 5 years unless you can not afford to exchange it
