Thanks to @TimR26 for organising the day and also a thanks to the Clioport admin team for there help. It was a great day out, a nice mix of cars and some good action on track. Here's my pictures but please feel free to add your own.
Gutted - woke up feeling awful yesterday so instead of going I spent 2 hrs in the out of hours doctors - bloody chest infection!
Sorry for wasting a ticket! Genuinely gutted
I was going to bring mine, but my step dad managed to "fix" the brakes on his MX5 Friday evening so we went out in that on track. I say fix.......it didn't have any and he said it was questionable at times. Was still faster than an A4 and a Focus.
But seeing everyone's Clio's out made me jealous. I will be bringing mine next time!!!
Heres a photo of mine that someone took on Quarry. I was on the Briskoda stand and have been going for the last 5 years. I feel that the skoda only track slots are far nicer to drive in than the chaos of some of the others, much more respect from fellow forum members.
I walked past the CS stand but was in too much of a hurry to stop and chat, some lovely looking cars though.
It was the first time I've had the Clio on track and was thoroughly impressed. Was fantastic in the corners, but could do with some more power for the straights.
The most amaznig car was the blue Skoda Yeti, 510 bhp!! Went passed me like I was stuck in first!!
One of the forum moderators sorts it all out. Two sessions, Briskoda only. The Castle Combe staff even tried to stop me going out on track as I wasnt in one! Took some persuading.
