It’s a funny part of Wales too, with Snowdonia being so near it has it’s own microclimate in my experience. Quite often weather systems seem to hang over the mountains or stick by the coast…used to spend quite a bit of time in Abersoch and it was mad seeing the cloud and rain in the distance over Snowdon, but be In beautiful blue sky’s. I’m sure there is some science to it. But I’m banking on it being a scorcher…

Low lying cloud passing over mountains means it always rains on the other side. I was always told the peaks would disturb cloud formations and would cause rain with pressure etc

Which is why it rains in Manchester 99.876% of the year. The other 0.124% it's snowing

@JB21 the forecast for the Saturday is sunny but cloudy with 2% chance of rain. Put your big boy pants on and send it!
As long as its not forecasting heavy rain all weekend I'll be there in the MR2. Need to pull my finger out a get a trailer really. Got caught in heavy rain coming back from Blyton once on barely legal AR1s and it was a real experience skating across 3 lanes of motorway traffic 😫

Long range forecasts I’m looking at say Friday will be overcast with small amount of rain and Saturday will be dry but cloudy. Sunday looks damp mind!

Whoever is camping! Does anyone have a gazebo? If it’s gonna rain it would be nice to have a communal area to have a beer away from the potential rain!
I have an IKEA gazebo, but it doesn't have sides.

I also have a 7 seater that we can all sit in and play soggy biscuit?

FAO anyone coming from the north / near Wolverhampton.

I have a steering wheel / boss etc there that I’ve been waiting to get sent for the past two months and want it sorted before or at CSF … my question is, is there anyone near that area that could pick it up for me and bring it to CSF? .. currently waiting for his address atm. If possible it would be greatly appreciated and there’s a couple beers in it if there’s any help!

@Sunglasses_Ron sorry to pester, are there any rules on BBQs or firepits this year?

I’ll find out but I doubt it.

But then again why would you need them? Theres an evening meal of fish and chips. And most people are staying in hotels so most of the socialising will be in the main marquee with the bar next to it I would have thought?

I’ll try and clarify about bbq’s in case those camping want to use them on the Friday night.

Cheers Ron, it's only so we can eat and stay warm after the evenings entertainment 👍
Gets bloody cold on the welsh coast at night!

That all depends on the blood results of the bloods I had taken last week, only my anti-rejection level is back & that's usually the last thing to be processed - I don't think there'll be any issues, so I should be, but this is the last test before CSF.
Oh and the home oxygen team are coming a few days before, but usually I dictate those meetings, and I plan on getting rid of what I have left

So anyone driving up country on the M5 that’s heading up on the Friday? Give me a shout if you fancy a convoy, I’m going to try and plan a decent cross country route

Yes .. but I think me trying to keep up with you in the RR while towing a mini round twisty Welsh roads is going to end in disaster so I'll just see you there 😂

Anyone else getting stressed after doing nothing to their car until the last minute?

For once I don't need to rebuild the car

Tracking booked for Monday, need to drop the gearbox oil and refill with MTL, stick my undertray back on then just replace the angle sensor and clear the fault in CLiP to get my ABS back. Other than that it's a small bits for a change

I mean I can send it without traction control and ABS, it just means I'll light the inside tyre up every so often if I punch it's c**t in🤣
