Hating to point out the obvious, why not just take a flash photograph of the plates to see if they are reflective or not?

They just change the picture to negative, and the reg no come up as plain as anything, there no way of getting round speed cameras, unless you remove the plate :rasp:
here's an alternative design that people got made up a few years back...
the white background is pearlescent so changed colour depending on the light (this can be seen slightly from the pic):

Had mine over a week. They look spot on.
Oh and by the way, she used to work in Bicester. I had quite a nice chat with her actually.
front one was especially in need of replacement as water had seeped into it and was looking messy. Just asked for the border on the front to match the car - flame red
