Clunky click coming from wheel

Getting a strange clunking click noise when turning the wheel, only notice it when manoevering into a space for example but the noise sounds like its just behind the wheel. its a mk2 ph2, can't seem to work out what it is.

my 1.2 (same as yours) did that. renault said they found nothing wrong with it and lubricated the universal joint and tightened some bolts.
drove away to work and it sounded worse than when it went in. It calmed down about a week later, but its still there.
i cant be bothered taking it in again as i'm getting rid soon anyway.

unusual. I may take it apart myself. By having the car lowered do you think renault wouldn't cover it under warranty?

probably depends what they think the problem could be. i guess they could say its the lowering thats the cause so wont cover it. only thing you can do is take it in and ask.
if you're really bothered about it, you could put the suspension back to standard and take it in. but thats alot of effort.
