CMy day at curborough sprint track in the 182 *pics and video*

Hey guys, so this morning i got up nice and early (7am) and headed off to meet my friend in his type R and the rest of the group going there, it was a ford day and covered by fast ford, but my friend with an RS2000 invited us along. So there turned out to be about 7 - 8 escort's, an ST2000, 106 gti, Type R and my clio 182.

It was a great day and for 50 pounds i havent had so much fun ever i dont think ? I took hardly any pictures unfortunatly as i was having so much fun which the video's show :lol:

Killed an Eagle F1 and my mate in his Type R killed a few cones :lol:
Also realised how much i need to uprate my brakes even though you hardly use them on a flying lap.

I'd just like to add we ended up doing timed runs and getting competitive a few of us.. Here are the times from the strating hut and round to the finish line.

106 Gti - 40.0 seconds
Clio 182 - 38.6 seconds
Civic Type R - 38.9 seconds
Escort RS2000 4x4 - 40.0 seconds
There was also an evo who manager a high 35 but we wont include him :lol:

Well i did do a 38.1 on my last lap after tweeking tyre pressure's but there was only a few of us left and we wernt officially doing our "timed" run's then. So yeah, go for 38.6 . if you do from the bottom one lap then over the line i did that in 1.09

In a clio, you should be able to leave it in second after launching until the back straigh, and you should be on the limiter all the way round the long first corner and through the first S bend,

Thats it. Really don't remember the time but was defo more than 1.09. Very damp on the start line when we were there.

Yeah if it's wet it slows you down alot.

My mate in his type R did a 1.094 and i did a 1.097 so he beat me at that

The 2nd or 3rd corner was the one I couldn't get right. Mainly the big mound of mud put me off everytime.
