coil pack/engine managment light issues

At the weekend the car was misfiring like mad. Had AA out and they checked all the injectors, leads, plugs, compression - ended up at conclusion of coil pack.

While all the misfiring was going on the engine managment light began flashing. Today I put a new coil pack on, misfire has gone but the engine managment light is on constant and hasn't gone out

Any ideas folks?

It needs clearing with diags mate.

so its stored the code, keeping the light on? Need to get that cleared before MOT then. Cheers

I don't think the light being on will make it fail mate mine didn't and mine was on. cheers

It depends on how picky the tester is from April but you should be okay. Just clear the code and the light will go away... simples

Tbf mate mines done this and I tryed a though things like disconecting the battery for 20minz and the connected bk up to try reseting everything. But this did work at first.

then next morning started car up light turned of.
Don't no weather this helps but what I tryed.
