Coil plug wires?

I am trying to find the negative wire of the 3 that connect to the coil, I know 1 should show 12V.
I have put a multimeter on all 3 with the ignition on and all are showing 0V?

The car starts and runs fine and when running I am getting a reading of 14.??V on all 3.

Anybody got any ideas?

To what end matey? The coil pack grounds via the chassis. The thick wire will be +12v and the other two are the ECU controlled triggers

It's to connect a shift light, I connected the signal wire of the shift light to the orange wire (one of the thinner wires) but not getting any reading on the shift light.

I believe the Omex SLP needs a dedicated +12v, GND, Signal. Don't use the coils after ignition live to power it, use an accessory feed from inside the car. Have you set the SLP to use a Batch fire/Waste Spark trigger?

I have wired it up the same as northloopcup.
i used the cigarette lighter power for the 12v ignition 12v power, earth point on the battery negative earth point on the chassis and the signal from the coil wire (orange) set the unit to 2cyl but it is not getting anything.
the shift light is a DRE but think it is wired up the same as the Omex

On a 250 just choose a coil from 1/4 or 2/3 and each coil will have two wires going to it; one is +12v and the other is the trigger
