Coilover kit problem - rear shocks have different fittings

  Fabia VRS Special Ed
I bought a coilover kit from a lad off here the other week, came to a few problems including needing the wheels spaced. I have the cup alloys on so I assume 10mm spacers will be ok, can anyone confirm this?

Main problem - I have some GAZ rear springs with the shocks from the coilover kit, however the nuts, top mounts and hollow cylinders on the back are different. The lad who I bought the kit off told me he used his standard nuts etc, also my mate who was helping me to fit the suspension had coilies and his nuts (on the car lol) were different to mine and they were the standard ones on the car. The cars were 04 & 06 reg, but mine is a 51, all a MK2 PH2.

What I'm asking is where do I get the nuts, top mounts & cylinders from to fit this?
I've rang Renault & ClioSpares and both are unsure about the situation.

Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Thanks in advance
Liam

when i fitted my suspension i had to file out the centre of the bushes so the damper would fit through ok

Really need these nuts etc, went to a few shops today including demon tweaks, halfords and so on but had no joy!

:(

I'm off work tomorrow, could try going down the the French car salvage place near me to see if i can pick some up. Was gonna go down to see if they had any black wings lol :p

I'll text you if I find any.

Fitted the front and the rear springs but no shocks on the back yet, hopefully this should be sorted next week.

I now have a bit of a concern, when I'm turning there is noise coming from the front right, literally sounds like it is about to fall to pieces, I'm thinking it's the top mount. Can this ever be too tight? Because when I was tightening it the rubber was creasing etc which i dont think it did before.

Cheers

The noise is definetely the o/s top mount, the n/s one is fine but the o/s is juddering and making a clunk when turning :(

Could it be too tight? It does feel extremely tight :(

Cheers
