coilovers K-SPORT

My knowledge of these consists of:
-They are coilovers.
-Made by K-tec.
-bargain for the price
-same as the raceland coilover kit

they do stuff for jap cars i believe, mixed reviews so i hear

but bare in mind any coilover kit that sells for £300 (and the company will be making at least 30% mark up, if not more) will be screwed together on the cheap, suspension is a complex item and the best costs

Exactly. A set of Eibach springs are around £140 (properly developed stuff). Doesnt leave much for the other bits does it?

You are right when you say that the best costs. We are working on some suspension with Nitron and the work involved is amazing.

But just because a kit is sold for around the £300 mark does not mean it is thrown togehter. With our kit, for example, we have 100 kits made at once so this allows us to have a kit made in this price range. I am sure that is you wanted to buy 100 AST kits you would be able to get a superb deal on the price bringing it in line with cheaper kits, does this then mean it is of a lesser quality?

David.

you know what i mean, you can't compare a kit in the lower price range to a top end kit regardless of volume bought

Exaclty but you are going on price and by looking at that first you are assuming a kit is thrown togehter on the cheap.

I am pleased to say that our KTR kit is now by far the most popular on the market and its quality is higher than many more expensive kits. But as you quite rightly say it is not in the same league as the high end kits. ;)

David.

i'm not going on price at all, i never assume anything regarding its price, look at AST for example, £1300? - s**t IMO

your kit ain't no bilstein though is it ;)

Thats because they are cheap? Lots of guys wont spend circa 1k on suspension on a 4k Clio. Maybe i'm the fool lol :(

in all fairness the KTR coilovers no-matter who they're manufactured by are very good for the price point

....yet to comment on bilstein...

lack of development IMO, i think the spring rates don't really match the dampers well on the front units (off the shelf)

K-Tec buys 100 bilsteins kits and sell them for £400 yeeees? ;)
