Cold air feed to standard airbox

  182 Cup
What size of pipe do I need to run one down to the bottom grill? I imagine a 2 metre odd one to trim down to proper length but what diameter does the pipe itself need to be?

I'm assuming you mean a cold air feed to the front hole in the standard airbox ? Its oval and measures 80mm x 62mm so a 70mm caf should be fine .The second hole underneath the airbox measures 80mm x 54mm .

would seem alot of trouble , i like the idea of making an induction kit using the mk1 air box like len beach has ... looks cheap but very affective
